Mohamed Elyounoussi, on loan from Southampton, played well for Neil Lennon’s Celtic on Thursday.

Elyounoussi, signed on loan from Premier League club Southampton in the summer transfer window, was in action for Celtic in their Europa League Group E on Thursday evening.
The 25-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, scored in the 59th minute and had a good game overall, as the Glasgow giants won 2-0.
Celtic boss Lennon was impressed with the display produced by the Norway international and has praised the former Basel star.
Lennon told The Scottish Sun about Elyounoussi: “I thought Elyounoussi was outstanding from start to finish and grew into the game more and more.”
Good start at Celtic
Elyounoussi – who joined Southampton from Basel in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £16 million – has made a good start to life at Celtic and is playing well for the Glasgow giants at the moment.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old has scored two goals in two Europa League appearances and has played once in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic.
