Tottenham Hotspur fans have slated Dele Alli, after he was spotted chatting with Bayern Munich attacker Serge Gnabry at full-time.
Spurs were battered 7-2 by Bayern on Tuesday, with Gnabry scoring four goals in the contest.
But Alli didn’t look as crestfallen as some of his other Tottenham teammates at full-time.
Indeed the England international attacking midfielder, who had started the contest, was spotted smiling with Gnabry after the defeat.
And Spurs fans have let rip at Alli for his attitude, after what should have been an embarrassing defeat.
Geezers got way to big for his boots.— Cenk (@ForzaYids) October 2, 2019
Looks like he cares more about the girls and his boohoo line than the football - what a shame!
Use to adore him, looked up to him even. Changed recently has been changed by the fame and his ego— Liam O' (@TanguyNdembele) October 2, 2019
Awful behaviour should be dropped vs Brighton— LiamMac28 (@liammacdonald90) October 2, 2019
Wound me up tbh.— Tone (@prodrivetony) October 2, 2019
The decline of Dele has been nothing short of incredible tbh, I don’t know what’s actually happened to him. It’s either injuries or his attention off the pitch with his clothing line. Also, him laughing and chatting with Gnabry at full time yesterday was embarrassing, no shame.— LP ☬ (@thfclp__) October 2, 2019
@dele_official woke up this morning. Still fuming that I saw Dele laughing with Gnabry after getting pumped 7-2. DISGRACEFUL. WEAK MENTALITY— Mason Clough 92 (@MasonClough92) October 2, 2019
Alli was joking with Gnabry, Rose looked smug af— Mubarak (@mubzhendrix) October 1, 2019
Alli has suffered a difficult time at Tottenham recently, with his form taking a turn for the worse.
Alli burst on to the scene as a teenager at Spurs, but arguably hasn’t progressed as much as was hoped.
The 23-year-old is now facing a huge fight to earn a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s team, with his starting spot far from certain.
Alli has featured just four times for Spurs this campaign, and is still looking for his first goal.
