West Bromwich Albion's unbeaten start to the Championship season is over after losing 1-0 away at Leeds United on Tuesday night.

The Baggies were sitting top of the league heading to Elland Road, and Leeds were looking for a response after losing 1-0 at Charlton Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds managed to sneak in front in the first half, with Ezgjan Alioski's left footed drive finding the bottom corner, with the aid of a touch from West Brom defender Kyle Bartley.

Leeds had to dig deep and battle to keep the Baggies at bay, keeping a clean sheet and getting the three points they needed to leapfrog West Brom back into top spot.

Slaven Bilic must now look to get his side back on track quickly, but that may well involve dropping defender Bartley – at least if West Brom fans get their wish.

The centre back returned to Elland Road to take on his former club, having spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Leeds, and his part in the winning goal was far from ideal.

West Brom fans have slated Bartley on Twitter, branding his performance a 'disasterclass' and urging Bilic to start Ahmed Hegazi as soon as he possibly can.

Additionally, some fans spotted Bartley smiling and joking with some of his former Leeds teammates at full time, and that really didn't go down well, with his actions branded 'disgusting' after the first defeat of the campaign.
