Could Tottenham Hotspur be looking for a new manager?

Tottenham Hotspur could be at a crossroads after a 7-2 hammering at the hands of Bayern Munich.

In isolation, Spurs could chalk this up as a one off.

But this is just the latest result in a woeful start to the season for Spurs, who last week lost to Colchester United.

Just last week The Sun claimed Massimiliano Allegri was being lined up by Tottenham as a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino in case he walks away.

The Guardian reported last night he was actually at Tottenham’s stadium to watch the Bayern game.

He is claimed to be learning English as he looks for a job in the Premier League.

Allegri is claimed to also want the Manchester United job in case Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s time in charge comes to an end.

Tottenham may have to act quickly. And they could have no choice if Pochettino suddenly decided to walk away.

Something is clearly not right at Spurs. This was an extremely bad result.

Could former Serie A winner Allegri be the solution?
