Everything you must know about how to freely change your class in Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint hasn’t had the most successful of launches thanks to its “hilarious amount of microtransactions” coupled with the hair pulling over its Mountain 00800 error. But – provided you can get past all of that – it’s still a fun experience with four different classes to change between.
Although it’s said to be more like Wildlands, the aspect that makes Ghost Recon Breakpoint stand out is its emphasis on survival and immersion. This comes through features you’d expect such as Breath Control, as well as new additions such as its unique injury system.
Below you’ll discover how to change your class in Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint: How to change your class
There are four unique classes in Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Assault, Sharpshooter, Panther and Field Medic.
You can change between these classes as much as you wish, but you’ll have to unlock them first.
As soon as you’ve done that, you’ll be able to change your soldier’s class in the Bivouac.
When visiting the Bivouac to rest, you’ll be able to see the classes available for you in the Tactics option.
What are the Ghost Recon Breakpoint classes?
As mentioned before, there are four unique classes in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. These classes have different techniques, items and proficiencies so they play and feel different.
The Assault class boasts damage resistance as well as recoil reduction. Their proficiencies include extra health and shotgun bonuses, whereas their item is a gas grenade.
Sharpshooter has high penetration bullets that deal bonus damage, and their sensor launcher marks enemies. They also boast longer Breath Control.
As the Desmond T. Doss no one ever wants to play as, the Field Medic is a healer who uses a drone to revive teammates. They also have medkits and carry bodies faster, and they can revive themselves.
Finally, the Panther is a sneaky bugger who can disappear behind a smoke screen, as well as use cloaking spray to hide themselves from drones.
The Standard Edition for Ghost Recon Breakpoint will launch on October 4th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
