FIFA 20 is available on Sony and Microsoft's current consoles as well as the Nintendo Switch, but why isn't it available on PS3 and Xbox 360?
FIFA 20 is available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, but you'll want to hold off on starting Career Mode thanks to the ungodly amount of bugs that have made it topsy-turvy and unplayable. However, while that is no doubt an issue as it forces players to resort to Ultimate Team, things are even worse for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners as they can't enjoy the game at all.
The launch of FIFA 20 hasn't been smooth thanks to the aforementioned Career Mode bugs that have resulted in even more accusations that EA only care about Ultimate Team because it continually fattens their wallets. This has been a yearly point of contention for players who just want to enjoy an extensive Career Mode, and it's why these disgruntled gamers should give PES 2020 a shot even if it isn't the "cool" thing to do.
Yet, because FIFA has been always be the big dog in the football gaming scene, players will always continue to support the series despite their vocal objections to its quality. That is except for PS3 and Xbox 360 loyalists as it's impossible for them to enjoy the newest instalment.

FIFA 19 on PS3 and Xbox 360
The disappointment about FIFA 20 not being available on PS3 and Xbox 360 may seem odd from an outsider's point-of-view thanks to how long the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have existed.
Yet, it's only this year the latest instalment of FIFA isn't available to buy or play on Sony and Microsoft's last-gen consoles. FIFA 19: Legacy Edition was available on PS3 and Xbox 360, as was FIFA 18, FIFA 17 and so forth
So why has EA decided to not publish FIFA 20 on the last-gen relics?
Why isn't FIFA 20 available on PS3 and Xbox 360?
FIFA 20 isn't available on PS3 and Xbox 360, and there's no official reason as to why. This is somewhat surprising thanks to the Legacy Edition being available on the Nintendo Switch again.
The official EA website merely states that it's not available on the PS3 and Xbox 360, and the only reasoning that can be found online is guesses by Segment Next that the inevitable arrivals of the PlayStation 5 and Project Scarlett might be to blame.
While those who still only play PS3 and Xbox 360 might be disappointed, EA have probably done you a favour as the Legacy Edition on Nintendo Switch is a recycled stinker. This means you're well better off just playing FIFA 19.
WHEN WILL IT BE AVAILABLE?: Multiplayer in Mario Kart Tour
The PS3 and Xbox 360 are awesome consoles that demand regular returns thanks to underrated beauties such as Binary Domain, Vanquish, Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow, Heavenly Sword and countless other gems, but it's more than apparent that they're dead and awaiting a quiet burial when the PS5 and Project Scarlett arrive.
