Tottenham face Bayern this evening.

Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium hosts it’s first ever Champions League group stage game this evening.

The visitors are big names for the occasion, none other than Bayern Munich.

Bayern are dangerous opponents, and German winger Serge Gnabry is looking forward to playing in Tottenham’s new stadium.

The former Arsenal youngster spoke at a pre-game press conference ahead of the tie.

He told Focus: “It looks very modern and it will be a pleasure to play here.”

Gnabry added: “A victory tomorrow would take us a big step in the right direction.

“It will not be easy tomorrow, we play against the CL finalists last season, have to work together and take our chances. We look forward to the game.”

Tottenham drew their first game against Olympiakos away from home, while Bayern won their first game 3-0 against Red Star.

A defeat would leave Spurs scrambling trying to catch up to the second spot, while a win will tip the group in their favour.

Bayern are relishing the challenge, but Spurs will see the Germans as big scalps too,
