Confirmed Tottenham line-up v Bayern Munich: Alli starts, Eriksen dropped to the bench

Tottenham Hotspur host Bayern Munich in the Champions League tonight.

Tottenham Hotspur starting XI: Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Winks, Ndombele, Sissoko; Dele; Son, Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur substitutes: Gazzaniga, Dier, Sanchez, Davies, Eriksen, Lamela, Lucas.

Spurs will be hoping to kickstart their Champions League campaign this evening, having only managed to draw 2-2 at Olympiacos last time out having been 2-0 up.

Mauricio Pochettino won't want a similar collapse tonight, and knows his side must be at their best to beat a dangerous Bayern side this evening.

Hugo Lloris starts in goal tonight, with Serge Aurier trusted again at right back despite his red card against Southampton on Saturday, with Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose joining him in the back four.

Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko again start as the midfield trio, with Dele Alli playing as the number 10 in place of Christian Eriksen.

Son Heung-min keeps his place in attack, joining Harry Kane as the front two, with Pochettino again sticking with the 4-3-1-2 system he's preferred in 2019.

Eriksen is dropped to the bench, alongside Paulo Gazzaniga, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez, Ben Davies, Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura.
