Leeds United were undone away at Charlton Athletic today.
Leeds United slipped to fourth in the Championship this afternoon.
Marcelo Bielsa's side went down 1-0 at Charlton Athletic as United failed to get back to winning ways after last week's disappointing draw with Derby County at Elland Road.
Macauley Bonne's goal on 32 minutes was enough for ex-Leeds midfielder Lee Bowyer to get one over on his former side in their trip to the capital.
The Whites huffed and puffed for large periods of the second half, but there was a distinct lack of cutting edge from the pre-season favourites for Premier League promotion.
Here's how Noel Whelan reacted to the defeat on BBC Radio Leeds: "We didn't do enough down here today. Once again, we have to look at either end of the field. We were soft and timid in front of goal and not strong enough in defence."
Asked what he made of Helder Costa on his full Championship debut, Whelan instantly responded: "Poor. I was so excited before the game [that Costa was starting]. Absolutely didn't think he did enough in the game. He didn't go past anybody. Absolutely zero."
The Elland Road side have only won once in their last four games now - a 2-0 victory at Barnsley after the international break.
Costa, as Whelan pointed out, was so very poor throughout the game and the sooner Pablo Hernandez is back, the better.
The Wolves winger, who is on loan at Leeds, hadn't started a league game under Bielsa before today and on the evidence of this, it could be a while before he's back in the first XI.
