And in another instance of goodwill crossing enemy lines, albeit not quite on the same scale, one Rangers player has wished a Celtic colleague well as the latter prepares for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Calvin Miller confirmed on Thursday that he will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on an injury he suffered while playing for Celtic's reserves against Hibernian last week. And replying to the left-back's Instagram post, the Rangers winger Serge Atakayi, who will have played against Miller at youth team level, sent the following message:
