Yeboah Jr is the latest Austria-based striker with Leeds United connections to have caught the eye.

Leeds United supporters are reacting on Twitter after another of their former players’ sons hit the headlines in Austrian football.

Erling Braut Haaland, who was born in Leeds while his father Alf-Inge was playing for the Whites, scored a hat-trick on his Champions League debut for Red Bull Salzburg last week.

But whatever Haaland can do, Yeboah can do better – albeit on a smaller stage.

Tony Yeboah’s son Kelvin struck four times on Wednesday as his side, WSG Swarovski Tirol, beat Austria Wien 5-2 in the ÖFB-CUP.

Yeboah Jr has now scored seven goals in as many games for WSG Tirol this season – their first since promotion back to the top flight.

And after catching wind of his midweek exploits, the following Leeds fans are naturally urging their side to snap up the 19-year-old Ghanaian.

According to Transfermarkt, Yeobah’s contract expires at the end of this season.

The Italy-born player previously spent time on the books of West Ham United and ASDC Gozzano.
