Defending the Guilty may just have made its debut on our screen but is the barrister-based series likely to stay?
The BBC has always been renowned for its comedy series and sitcoms that cover people in all walks of life.
The most recent profession to go under the BBC's sitcom microscope is that of the humble barrister, and no not the coffee-making kind, in the new series Defending the Guilty.
Defending the Guilty brings in the comedy big-guns in the form of Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd) and Will Sharpe (Flowers) in a comedic glance at the life of a trainee barrister and their mentor, a rather pertinent series with all that's transpiring in the High and Supreme Courts of the United Kingdom currently.
After the series made its debut on September 17th, the series has aired each week on BBC Two but just how many episodes are there in total and will Defending the Guilty be lucky enough to get a second series?
