Cameron John, on loan at Doncaster Rovers from Wolverhampton Wanderers, is reportedly wanted by Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Middlesbrough.

According to The Daily Mail, Wolverhampton Wanderers central defender Cameron John is on the radar of Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Middlesbrough.

It has been reported that scouts watched John in action for Doncaster Rovers in their League One game against Peterborough United on Saturday.

The 20-year-old is on loan at Doncaster at the moment, with his current contact at Wolves to run out at the end of the season, although the Wanderers have an option for a further year, according to the report.

Promising talent

John has struggled to break into the Wolves first team, but there is no doubt that the 20-year-old centre-back is very promising and has a lot of talent.

According to WhoScored, the 20-year-old has scored one goal in six League One appearances for Doncaster so far this season, and he has also featured in one EFL Cup tie.

Future at Wolverhampton Wanderers?

Wolves seem well stocked in the defensive department at the moment, and it is going to be tough for John to break into the first team.

However, if the centre-back does well in his loan spell at Doncaster, then the Wanderers could decide to trigger the one-year option they have, and perhaps next summer he could impress manager Nuno in pre-season training.
