To the surprise of absolutely no one who has seen the show, Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Fleabag took home six awards at the 2019 Emmys.
The success of Fleabag meant that the BBC comedy was one of the most successful shows at the 2019 awards, with double the number of 'major' Emmys this year than HBO's Game of Thrones.
Naturally, the awards success means that Fleabag will undoubtedly be getting lots of attention from viewers who have yet to watch the critically acclaimed series, or of course, fans who simply want to watch the brilliant series again.
FLEABAG: Is a third season too much to ask for?
What is Emmy-award-winning Fleabag about?
Fleabag, which began life as a superb one-woman stage show, first came to our screens back in 2016 and tells the story of a struggling cafe owner who's definitely not obsessed with sex.
The series explores the main character's (known as Fleabag) romantic relationships as well as her connection with friends and family, quite often with side-splitting hilarity.
The first series especially is very much based on the original stage show with the 2019 return taking a new and unexplored direction that's arguably better than the first instalment.
