Winger Williams has fired Exeter City to the top of League Two and he could be rewarded with a move to the Championship.

Randell Williams is catching the eye of a number of Championship clubs thanks to his performances at Exeter City with TEAMtalk claiming that Nottingham Forest, Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town and Queens Park Rangers are all sending scouts to St James’ Park.
Three years ago, an exciting young forward by the name of Ollie Watkins exploded onto the scene on the South Coast, scoring a flurry of goals in red and white stripes before earning the EFL Young Player of the Year award.
Watkins is one of the Championship’s most feared forwards these days, leading the line with skill and speed for Brentford, and it seems that Williams could be about to follow in his footsteps.
A London-born 22-year-old who played academy football for Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Watford, Williams has come into his own since dropping down the divisions and he’s produced two assists so far this season with Exeter sitting top of the League Two table.

Whether the Grecians will be able to hold onto the winger after the turn of the year remains to be seen, however, with Forest, Cardiff, QPR and Huddersfield all interested.
Forest are flying right now with a number of inspired signings, such as Samba Sow, Alfa Semedo and Tiago Silva, thriving under new manager Sabri Lamouchi. Can the Frenchman turn Williams into the new Ollie Watkins at the City Ground?
