Fraser Forster is proving quite a hit since returning to Celtic.

Celtic fans on Twitter are raving about Fraser Forster’s performance today.

The Hoops came from behind to beat Kilmarnock 3-1 at Parkhead this afternoon, but it could and would have been a nervy finish if not for the big English goalkeeper.

Forster, on loan at Celtic from Southampton, saved a late penalty from Alan Power to ensure a drama-free end to the game in Glasgow.

The big keeper, who joined the Saints for £10 million in 2014 [The Scottish Sun], is in his second spell at Parkhead.

And some Celtic fans on Twitter have seen enough to know that they want him back on a long-term basis.

He has only been back a matter of weeks, but already Forster is beginning to look like a brilliant signing.

There has been questions marks over Craig Gordon for a while, while Scott Bain, who has been sidelined since August with injury, endured a rotten start to the season.

Forster is far and away the best option for Celtic boss Neil Lennon and that might be the case for the entire season.

Beyond that, we’ll see.
