The Everton academy prodigy scored a sensational goal for David Unsworth's U23s side to give the Goodison Park club victory on Friday night.
A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to urge Marco Silva to consider Antony Evans for the Toffees first team following the 20-year-old's sublime wondergoal in the Goodison Park side's latest Premier League 2 win.
Everton, the reigning Premier League 2 and Premier League Cup champions, appeared to be en route to victory at Brighton following Anthony Gordon's early goal, latching on to Beni Baningime's superb through-ball before slotting underneath goalkeeper Hugo Keto.
David Unsworth's charges were then left reeling late on as opposition defender Warren O’Hora looked to have seized a point for the home side one minute from time, rifling home from close range, but that wasn't to be the end of the story.
Evans picked up the ball on the left-hand side of Brighton's final third, backtracked initially to figure out his next move, then edged closer towards the centre and, from around 25 yards out, let rip with a superb curling shot which left the opposition stopper completely helpless.
