Arsenal and Celtic fans have responded to Kieran Tierney’s post on Twitter.

Tierney has taken to Twitter to express his delight at turning out for the Arsenal Under-23 side on Friday evening.

The Scotland international left-back was in action for the Gunners’ Under-23 side against their Wolverhampton Wanderers counterparts in Telford in Premier League 2.

According to the North London club’s official website, the 22-year-old left-back played for 62 minutes, as the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

 

Tierney has yet to make a competitive appearance for Arsenal due to injury, but the youngster took a step closer to doing so by featuring for the Under-23 side on Friday evening.

The 22-year-old left-back joined Premier League club Arsenal from Scottish Premiership outfit Celtic in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £25 million.

Tierney has taken to Twitter to express his delight at being back on the pitch, and Celtic and Arsenal fans have responded to his post.
