Tottenham Hotspur loanee Jack Clarke could potentially be returning back to his parent club in January because his game time at Leeds United has completely dried out.

Tottenham Hotspur fans are delighted to hear that Jack Clarke’s loan spell at Leeds United could potentially be cut short in January.

The Mirror has claimed that Clarke could return to Spurs when the transfer window re-opens because of his lack of game time at Elland Road.

It is said that Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa hasn’t spoken to the 18-year-old winger, who is yet to play a minute of Championship football.

Clarke enjoyed a breakthrough season for the Yorkshire club last season, as his performances attracted the interest of Spurs in the summer, who secured his services on a permanent basis and then loaned him back to the Yorkshire club.

Spurs supporters want to see their player return to North London and then sent out to a club who will provide him with the game time he needs.

Clarke’s rise into Leeds United’s first-team last season defined the job Bielsa was doing at the club, but since the start of the campaign, the youngster has hardly been seen.

Therefore, it is understandable why some Tottenham fans are frustrated to constantly see him not making the matchday squads.

Whilst Clarke is nowhere near Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team, he has proven that he is capable of playing on a regular basis in England’s second-tier.

If Spurs do recall their player then there could be the possibility that Leeds could come up against the winger in the Championship.

But, the winter transfer window is yet to re-open and anything can happen between now and January.
