Gutman was allowed to leave Celtic on loan until the winter.
Some followers of Major League Soccer are raving about the Celtic-owned left-back Andrew Gutman.
Gutman joined FC Cincinnati on loan from Celtic earlier this year, and made his sixth appearance for the Ohio-based side on Wednesday.
But despite having failed to prevent a 2-0 defeat to Atlanta United, the recent United States call-up was named Cincinnati’s man of the match – while one of his mazy runs was awarded the game’s ‘power move’.
The jury had been out on Gutman, who is taking his first strides in North America’s most prestigious football league.
But you will find the Celtic man’s detractors few and far between right now.
This is what MLS fans are saying about the 22-year-old’s latest display…

Ledesma happened for sure but Gutman looked great out there. Besides, @LedeManu18 probably has plenty of these already— Phil Denton (@phil_denton) September 19, 2019

#cf97 legend Andrew Gutman not looking too bad against Atlanta tonight. Too bad Nelly’s ego got in the way of signing him.— Adam Merges (@firefan1998) September 19, 2019
Gutman is due to return to Celtic at the end of the MLS season this winter.
Although work permit regulations and the presence of summer signings Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo and Greg Taylor in his position, make uncertain Gutman’s short-term future at Celtic Park.
