Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Dani Olmo continues to impress, after missing out on a summer move to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Tottenham were said to be highly interested in Olmo during the summer transfer window, with a report in Mucho Deportivo claiming that they were on the verge of agreeing a £22.5 million fee with Dinamo Zagreb for the winger.

In the end Spurs didn’t manage to pull off the deal, but they may be wishing that they had now.

Olmo has made a brilliant start to the new campaign, and his performance in the Champions League last night was nothing short of remarkable.

The Tottenham target completed 10 dribbles during Zagreb's 4-0 win against Atalanta, with the winger torturing the Italian side’s defence.

And Spurs fans may be even more keen to see Olmo signed after seeing the reaction to his display.

If Olmo was signed for Spurs he could be a brilliant addition to Mauricio Pochettino’s attack.

Other than Lucas Moura, Spurs don’t have a really direct player in the style of Olmo, and the 21-year-old could be a great fit at Hotspur Way.
