Because of injury, hasn’t played since April.
Would have been free to speak to other interested foreign clubs in January.
On the sidelines
Hudson-Odoi has been at Chelsea since 2007, and he is a very talented and promising young forward.
The 18-year-old has been on the sidelines since April when he ruptured his Achilles' tendon against Burnley, as reported by Football.London.
According to Football.London, the England international could potentially be back in action for the Chelsea first team this month.
One for the future
Under new manager Frank Lampard, Chelsea are giving chances to young players who have come through the academy, such as Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham.
Hudson-Odoi has huge potential, and the 18-year-old reportedly staying at Chelsea for the next few years is great news for the club.
The Englishman is not the finished article yet, but he can only get better in the coming years.
