Rangers had a pretty busy transfer window with their standout purchase being winger Ryan Kent.

Alan Brazil has suggested that there are ‘big problems’ with the owner at Rangers as he claimed that ‘you won’t believe’ what’s going on.

Former Gers striker Ally McCoist was in the studio when Brazil made the claim as McCoist stated that the TalkSport presenter is ‘trying to spoil’ his Thursday.

Brazil didn’t go into further detail about what he knows, but he did claim that it will all ‘come out’, with the Gers currently preparing for their Europa League tie on Thursday night.

Recently, Mark Allen left his role as Director of Football at Rangers, as he cited ‘family reasons’ and ‘other options’ for his departure, as quoted by BBC Sport.

Speaking to The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show (19/09/2019 6:15 am), Brazil, who was in the studio with McCoist, shared what he has been hearing about Rangers.

“You know I won’t go into it now because I can’t substantiate it yet, but I am hearing there are still big problems at Rangers at the top,” Brazil told TalkSport. “Big problems with the owner.

“Anyway, I am not going to say anymore because someone called me a couple of nights ago, and he’s a Rangers supporter as well, and he said ‘you won’t believe what’s going on’. It’ll all come out in the wash.

McCoist responded: “Are you trying to spoil my Thursday already?” Brazil then joked: “Hopefully I have and put you off your stride.”

When senior figures leave clubs in a surprising manner, as Allen has done at Ibrox, then there is always going to be questions asked, and some of the time a negative slant might be put on it.

But Allen has seemingly left the Gers, having brought in a high-quality manager in Steven Gerrard, who has been able to bring in the players he seemingly wanted this summer, Ryan Kent’s name, of course, stands above all.

Nonetheless, Rangers will, at this moment in time, be preparing for their Europa League clash against Dutch side Feyenoord on Thursday evening.

Former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam will be hoping to get the better of Anfield great Gerrard, as they lock horns for the first time as managers.
