Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jack Roles has dazzled Cambridge United fans, after scoring his first goal in senior football last night.

Tottenham prospect Roles came off the bench as Cambridge picked up an impressive 4-0 win away to Mansfield Town yesterday.

There is now a growing clamour for Roles to be starting regularly for Colin Calderwood’s side, as he has been rotated in and out since joining from Spurs.

And Tottenham fans will be delighted to see how popular their prospect has become already.

Roles is getting his first taste of senior football, and it is encouraging to see how well he is adapting.

The academy graduate is highly regarded at Tottenham, and was taken on their pre-season tour over the summer.

Roles even stepped up to take a penalty against Bayern Munich and he tucked it away, to prove his bravery and ability to handle pressure.

The Spurs loanee could be in action for Cambridge again at the weekend, when the U’s take on Swindon Town.
