Aston Villa have moved onto four points this season after picking up a 0-0 draw against West Ham United on Monday night.
Villa went into the game having lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace in controversial fashion before the international break, and were hoping to get back to winning ways against West Ham.
Last time out at Villa Park, Villa beat Everton 2-0, but they weren't able to mirror that display as they couldn't break down a resilient West Ham side.
Wesley missed a superb early chance from a Jack Grealish cross, and whilst Arthur Masuaku was sent off in the second half, Villa couldn't take advantage.
A point is better than nothing for Villa, and they've moved out of the relegation zone with that point too, before having their atmosphere praised.
West Ham star Declan Rice admitted to Four Four Two earlier this month that he wanted to join Villa last year, but Manuel Pellegrini blocked him heading to Villa Park on loan.
It's no great surprise that Rice has now praised Villa when responding to one of their fans on Twitter, as he praised the atmosphere last night as 'brilliant', branding Villa's fans as 'great' and 'passionate', which will certainly go down well with Villa supporters.
Thank you. Got to say, stadium atmosphere was brilliant. Great set of fans. Passionate https://t.co/GzEjomNuKf— Declan Rice (@_DeclanRice) September 16, 2019
