Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is attracting major interest.

According to the Daily Mail, Borussia Dortmund have expressed their interest in signing Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard – but the Bhoys want a huge £30million fee.

Edouard spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Celtic from Paris Saint-Germain, and Brendan Rodgers was convinced enough to pay a club-record £9million to sign him (Sky Sports).

The Frenchman has started the season in red-hot form, notching six goals and five assists in 12 games for the Bhoys, as well as four goals in his first two caps for the France Under-21’s.

Edouard is making a real name for himself, and it’s now believed that Dortmund have made it clear that they would like to snap him up in 2020.

Atalanta, Napoli and Sampdoria are also keen to sign Edouard, but a move to Dortmund would surely be appealing, even if only as competition for their star striker Paco Alcacer.

It’s noted that Celtic would want a huge £30million for Edouard, which would give them a massive £21million profit on the striker, which may make a deal easier to stomach.

Celtic faced similar interest in Edouard’s compatriot Moussa Dembele before eventually selling him to Lyon in August 2018, but it seems like Edouard could go for an even greater fee.

Celtic are unlikely to be keen on selling in January, but if Edouard keeps this form up, they may find it difficult to keep him at Parkhead next season.
