Leeds United picked up a 2-0 victory over Barnsley at the weekend, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side moving back to the top of the Championship.

Leeds United have praised Ezgjan Alioski for ‘embarrassing’ Aapo Halme in the tunnel before his side’s clash with Barnsley on Sunday.

Leeds came up against Halme for the first time since he left Elland Road in the summer, and Alioski was clearly playing some mind games with the youngster before the game.

The Leeds utility man was in a jovial mood before kick off, and could be heard saying to his former teammate: “Aapo are you nervous? You don’t say hello, man.”

Alioski has developed a bit of a joker in the Leeds’ squad, and his personality has once again earned him praise from Whites fans on social media.

Leeds went on to beat Barnsley 2-0 on Sunday, but they left it late to seal the three points.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side needed goals from on Eddie Nketiah and Mateusz Klich in the closing stages to ensure that they went back to the top of the league.

Leeds are next in action on Saturday when they take on Derby County, in what should be a feisty affair.
