Tierney quit Celtic, his boyhood club, to sign for Arsenal in a deal worth a reported fee of £25 million this summer.
But he has not forgotten those he left behind – not least his long-time defensive colleague, Jozo Simunovic.
Adding to his story on Tuesday evening, Tierney posted a photo of himself with the Croatian and the Celtic physio, David McGovern.
And he wrote: “Get well soon my man(.) Praying for u(.)

Simunovic had earlier posted a photo of himself after undergoing knee surgery.
But, according to BBC Sport, the 25-year-old is expected to miss weeks rather than months.
Tierney has also struggled for fitness this season, with a hip problem having prevented him from making his Arsenal debut.
Celtic still have Kristoffer Ajer, Christopher Jullien, Hatem Abd Elhamed and Jack Hendry capable of covering for Simunovic.
