Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani responded to a fan last night who urged him to get the club into the Champions League.

The exchange was sparked when Radrizzani praised a message sent by his company Eleven Sports, about the Champions League group stages kicking off this evening.

Radrizanni was asked by a supporter if he could get Leeds into the Champions League within two years.

He responded by saying he might need three.

First Leeds must focus on winning promotion to the Premier League, having narrowly missed out last year.

Wolves have shown what is possible for newly promoted teams, qualifying for the Europa League.

And Leicester's incredible 2015/16 title win came in just their second season in the top flight after winning promotion.

So anything really is possible for Leeds if they do win promotion, but the first step is the toughest.
