Arsenal loanee Henrikh Mkhitaryan was on target for Roma on his debut.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan compounded a bad day for Arsenal by scoring on his debut for Roma.
The Armenian international netted in a 4-2 victory for the Serie A side against Sassuolo.
This came just after Arsenal had given up a 2-0 lead against Watford, to draw 2-2.
Mkhitaryan was considered expendable by Arsenal, and his performances for the Gunners justified their decision.
He was too inconsistent a performer and his exit allows Arsenal to give more game time to young players like Reiss Nelson.
However, when Arsenal are dropping points, and Mkhitaryan is starring for Roma, it becomes a more difficult decision to digest.
Mkhitaryan might simply suit Italian football better, with his Arsenal spell following a very patchy run at Manchester United.
Or he could simply fade at Roma too, and fail to build on this bright start.
Here is a look at how Arsenal fans reacted to his goalscoring debut...
And Mkhitaryan scores at Roma #SerieA #AFC looking really sharp there too. Some leagues are not for some players. Premier league is not for Mkhitaryan.

i don’t understand arsenal’s decision to let both mkhitaryan and iwobi leave. how can you survive a whole season with only aubameyang, pepe, ozil and lacazette as your attacking options?
