Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Divock Origi against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.

Origi started the Premier League match for Liverpool at Anfield and played for 37 minutes, before he was taken off injured.

The Belgium international striker was a surprise inclusion in the Reds’ starting lineup ahead of Roberto Firmino, who replaced him in the first half.

The Brazil international forward was superb for the Merseyside outfit and changed the game after coming on, as the Reds won 3-1.

During the time when Origi was on the pitch, the striker did not have a great time, as he took one shot which was not on target, won one header, took 15 touches, and made two tackles, according to WhoScored.

While Liverpool will hope that the striker's injury is not serious, some fans were not displeased that manager Jurgen Klopp was forced into making the change in the first half, as they do not think that Origi is good enough to start, especially ahead of Firmino.
