While those who have pre-ordered Call Of Duty Modern Warfare could experience the beta yesterday, those who haven't can participate in its open beta from September 14-16.

This is for the PlayStation 4 only as Xbox One and PC gamers have to wait until a while afterwards.

You'll want to preload the Modern Warfare beta before it launches tomorrow so you can sample as much of a taste of the experience as possible before the full game launches in October.

As for what the beta includes, Activision has shared that there'll be series of maps and content drops, but that none of your progress will carry over to the final game.

Those who have pre-ordered Call Of Duty Modern Warfare for Xbox One and PC can experience its beta from September 19 - 20.

If you haven't pre-ordered the upcoming reimagining from a digital storefront, you will need to enter your keycode on the game's official website to participate in its beta.

PS4 users will also be able to participate in this closed beta, as well as play more Call Of Duty during the open beta for PC and Xbox One from September 21 - 23.

This second week beta should feature the instalment's cross-play support between consoles and PC, meaning it'll be a great opportunity to sample one of its most attractive promises.

The start times are expected to be the same as the first week.
