Crystal Palace are reportedly facing a fight to hold on to their exciting youngster with the Primeira Liga powerhouses and La Liga outfit keen.
Crystal Palace fans must be sick of speculation swirling around their homegrown talents.
After losing Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United and spending the whole summer fretting about the future of star man Wilfried Zaha, academy star Jadan Raymond now finds himself at the centre of a transfer tug-of-war.
According to the Mail, Palace have failed to tie down one of their most promising youngsters to professional terms – meaning the teenager could be on his way out of Selhust Park for as little as £250,000 when the window opens again in January.
Raymond was the hero as England’s youngsters beat Poland in the final of the Syrenka Cup this week, scoring the winning spot-kick in a penalty shoot-out. And the Mail reports that scouts from Benfica and Valencia have been blown away by the starlet’s potential, not least because he is out of contract at the end of the season.
Understandably, Roy Hodgson’s side are desperate to tie Raymond down to fresh terms but will the opportunity to play for one of Europe’s biggest clubs on the continent be too good to turn down?
