Tottenham Hotspur attacker Erik Lamela has played in every Premier League game for Mauricio Pochettino’s side to date.
Lamela only suggested that Tottenham needed to kick on after what has been a slow start to the season.
“Hopefully we can win the next few games and really start to push on,” he said.
However, the Argentine winger does not appear to be flavour of the month with Tottenham supporters.
And many fans responded by suggesting that Mauricio Pochettino needs to drop him.

Start Lucas over him— Liam Macdonald (@liammacdonald90) September 11, 2019
Tbf Lucas is an insane bench player and always a big game changer when he comes on, But no way should Lamela start above him or Alli.— Jaydn (@ThfcJaydn) September 11, 2019

Lamela has played a key role at Spurs so far this term, and he has actually performed his role effectively, in terms of goal contributions.
Lamela has claimed a goal and an assist in Tottenham’s first four games.
However, the Argentine does have some doubters to win over at Spurs, as he has persistently struggled with injury since his £25 million (Independent) move to North London six years ago.
Despite, Spurs fans’ comments, Lamela does look likely to start for Pochettino’s men at the weekend, when they take on Crystal Palace.
