Glasgow Rangers star Steven Davis and Sheffield United midfielder Oliver Norwood have congratulated Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas on signing a new contract.
The 28-year-old winger has been at the Whites since 2015 and has also added versatility to his game, having developed into a full-back under head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
Davis - who signed a permanent contract in the summer transfer window after spending the second half of last season on loan at Rangers from Southampton in the Premier League - plays with Dallas for the Northern Ireland national football team.
As for Norwood, the 28-year-old midfielder - who made his loan move to Sheffield United from Brighton and Hove Albion permanent in January 2019 - played with Dallas for Northern Ireland before announcing his international retirement in January 2019.
Interestingly, Norwood was linked with a move to Leeds back in the summer of 2018, with The Sun’s live transfer blog (7am, August 8, 2018) claiming of interest in the midfielder from the Whites (click here to read more).
Davis responded: “Congrats mate, next on you.”
Norwood responded: “Well deserved mate."
