Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers lost to Neil Lennon’s Celtic in the Old Firm derby.
Ryan Kent of Rangers
Rangers winger Ryan Kent has told the club’s official Twitter page that it was "tough" for him to watch Steven Gerrard’s side's defeat to Celtic at Ibrox.
Just before the two-week international break, Rangers suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Celtic at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby.
It was one of Rangers’ worst performances of the season so far, and the result in the Scottish Premiership game underlined the need for the Gers to improve.
Kent, who joined Rangers from Liverpool on transfer deadline day, has said that it was tough for him to watch the Old Firm derby.
The 22-year-old, who spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Rangers from Liverpool, has suggested that he is looking forward to playing in the remaining Old Firm derbies this season, not just for now, but in the long term as well.
RK: The Old Firm game was tough to watch for me, I would have loved to be a part of it and I have three more to be involved in.— Rangers Football Club (@RangersFC) September 12, 2019
Good signing for Rangers
Kent was one of the best players for Rangers last season, and given his performances in the big games, he is a very good signing for the Gers.
With the winger now in the squad, the Ibrox faithful should be confident of the team bouncing back from the defeat to Celtic.
