Newcastle United fans are delighted that Andy Carroll’s return to fitness appears to be edging ever closer.
Newcastle posted training photos yesterday, with Carroll featuring heavily in them.
The target-man is not yet back in full training, but he is practicing alongside his new Newcastle teammates now.
The striker is able to join in with non-contact drills, as he gets closer and closer to making an appearance in a black and white shirt again.
And Newcastle fans are delighted to see Carroll is now almost fit again.

NUFC going on about Andy C like they’ve done us a favour signing him when they should have never sold him in the first place ! Could have built a team around him . Honestly NUFC don’t try to pull the wool your selling club not interested in winning trophies. All the best AC— Tony Cornfoot (@Tonyc1234) September 11, 2019
No doubt. Be great if he can stay fit— This Dave (@ThisDave) September 11, 2019
When Carroll does return to action for Newcastle he should increase their goalscoring threat.
Steve Bruce’s options up-front have been limited this term, with Dwight Gayle also out with injury.
Carroll’s comeback should help to reduce some of the burden on Joelinton, and if the England international can hit form he could be a major threat for the Magpies.
