A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on who should win August's Championship Manager of the Month award, and despite the Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa being in the running, quite a few aren't opting for him.
Leeds have enjoyed a bright start to the 2019-20 Championship season, picking 13 points from six games to place the Elland Road side third in the table ahead of the international break, hence Bielsa's nomination for the accolade.
Also up for the accolade are Leeds cult hero Lee Bowyer, who has enjoyed a superb start to life in the second tier at Charlton Athletic, who despite ishaving to "recruit half a team" as the season neared, has got them second in the table on 14 points, the Addicks unbeaten in the league thus far.
As a result, quite a few Leeds supporters openly expressed their hopes of Bowyer winning the accolade, though it could also be due to the hope of avoiding their own team falling prey to the so-called "curse" that comes with winning the monthly gong.
Here is what some of the Elland Road faithful said on social in response to the managerial nominations announcement:

Also in the running for the accolade are Steve Cooper, who has led unbeaten Swansea City to 16 points from a possible 18 and to the top of the Championship table, and Lee Johnson of Bristol City, who boasts 11 points from six games, including away victories at Hull City and Derby County.
