Arsenal supporters on Twitter have disagreed with Kanu's comments that the club 'made a mistake' in selling Alex Iwobi to Everton this summer.
Former striker and Premier League legend Kanu has questioned the decision of Unai Emery and Co. to part ways with the 23-year-old, as quoted by The Metro.
Iwobi came through the ranks at the Emirates Stadium as a kid, but he will now be looking to make a name for himself at Goodison Park.
At Arsenal, some supporters feel that Iwobi wasn't producing the goods as they backed the club in their decision to part ways with him.
Albeit he is still learning his trade, Iwobi hasn't been able to show consistency or be that player that wins those big matches, but he'll be hoping to learn that art under Marco Silva.
Given Iwobi's age and the club he is now playing for, he has ample time to prove his former employers wrong, who will already be regretting selling Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool a couple of seasons ago.
Despite his long-term injury last season, the England international has taken his game to the next level under Jurgen Klopp, as he will be looking to get back on track and take another step this season.
The Toffees will host Emery's side in December and Iwobi will no doubt be looking towards that game and hoping to show his former club what he is all about.
Here is a selection of Arsenal fans reacting on Twitter to Kanu's comments about Iwobi:

Was selling Alex Iwobi the right decision by Arsenal?
There was never any end product with Iwobi, no goals, no assists. He’s 23 years old. We have been to soft, too long.— Mathias Stage (@MathiasStage) September 10, 2019
If he watched him week in week out he would know it was the right decision to sell him.— ツ (@AFCCharlie_) September 10, 2019
