Three Leeds United players have been named in Whoscored's Championship Team of the Month for August, as published by Sky Sports News on their website.

Two of the Whites backline have made the cut as Stuart Dallas - who has just today signed a new deal at Elland Road - features at right-back in the XI, having scored 7.09 for the month, making him the best player in his position this Championship season so far.

As reported by Sky Sports, the Northern Irishman started all six matches thus far, predominantly at right-back, scored in the 3-0 win at Stoke City, weighed in with 11 tackles and had 10 shots overall in August.

Next to him in the Whoscored TOTM back line is Leeds on-loan centre-back Ben White on 7.48, the 21-year-old Brighton-owned defender completing 87.2 percent of his passes and more interceptions (25) than any other player in the league.

Rounding off the Leeds players' contingent in the XI is Pablo Hernandez, who features on the right wing after claiming two goals and two assists after six appearances in the Championship for the Elland Road side.

The 34-year-old, who carries an August rating of 7.56, is currently seventh for shots (19) and third for key passes (16) in England’s second tier for Marcelo Bielsa's charges, currently third in the Championship table.

Up next for Leeds is Sunday's trip to Oakwell to lock horns with Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.
