Don Hutchison has warned Tottenham Hotspur that Harry Kane might also 'want out' of the club if they end up losing a number of key players.
The former midfielder insisted that Spurs aren't moving forward, at this moment in time, as he cited players who are soon-to-be out of contract and the lack of game time for some of their new summer signings.
Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso are yet to start a game for Tottenham because of injury, but the supporters have had a glimpse of Tanguy Ndombele.
Hutchison was adamant on Twitter that there aren't signs that Tottenham are moving in the right direction as he warned the club can't be 'naive' to think that Kane might also want to leave.
Lo Celso hardly played. Ndombele injured.Sessegnon not playing.— Don Hutchison (@donhutch4) September 10, 2019
Players running down their contracts is Hardly moving forward. https://t.co/frvhIy0ejf
U honestly think your moving forward? In my opinion Spurs are no better no worse than the last couple of seasons.— Don Hutchison (@donhutch4) September 10, 2019
Also don’t be naive enough to think that if 3/4 big players leave H Kane might also want out while he is in his prime. https://t.co/Pz1wG955O1— Don Hutchison (@donhutch4) September 10, 2019
It has been a busy summer for Tottenham with the futures of a number of their key players being questioned, but in the end, they have kept hold of their best players, for now.
But the January transfer window and the next summer transfer window could potentially result in the Spurs squad changing, that's if the likes of Christian Eriksen were to depart.
Tottenham proved last season that a lot could change within one campaign and if the club can take that next step this season and win a trophy then the futures of some of their star players might just be resolved.
Either way, it would be a surprise if a Kane were to depart because he has a great affiliation with the club and it would take a ridiculous amount of money to part ways with him.
