Liverpool loanee started in Wales’ win.

Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson started in Wales’ 1-0 win over Belarus.

The Reds winger is on loan at Bournemouth and has two goals already to start the season.

He was not on target for Wales last night, it was Dan James who scored the winner.

Wilson still played his role, and was on the receiving end of several rough challenges from the away wide.

The 22-year-old came through unscathed and played 88 minutes of the victory for Ryan Giggs’ side.

Wilson was very unfortunate not to be called up as a regular for Liverpool this season, but he has landed on his feet at Bournemouth.

The loan is a step up from his spell at Derby County last season, a test he passed with flying colours, scoring 16 goals.

International games are just part of the package of his development. It is six years since he was first called into the Wales squad and he is now a regular.

Last night was not a showpiece game from him, but he was still able to leave to good impression.

Here is a look at how fans reacted on Twitter to his performance…
