When does the Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Summer Update come out for PS4 and Xbox One? Here you can find the projected release time.
Fans of Red Dead Redemption 2 are eagerly awaiting the release time for the Online portion’s Summer Update on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
This is because loyal cowboys and cowgirls have been starving for anything fresh, new and exciting ever since the Summer Update was announced back in early August.
These same fans will soon have their thirst and hunger satisfied thanks to the Online Summer Update arriving today, but when can they expect the myriad of new features and additions to become downloadable?
Red Dead Redemption 2 Online update time
There’s no confirmed release time for the Red Dead Redemption 2 Summer Update, but the fine folks at VG247 reckon it could be 15:00 in the United Kingdom.
As for why they believe this to be the case, it’s because previous Red Dead Online updates have arrived at the above time.
So for the people of Eastern Europe, this means the update is likely to arrive at 16:00, whereas the EDT release time will probably be 10:00 in comparison to 07:00 PDT.
Provided the above times come true, it means gamers won’t have to wait very long at all for the update to become downloadable and playable.
What is the Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Summer Update?
The Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Summer Update is a patch that – in theory – should quench the hunger and thirst felt by the game’s remaining cowboys and lasses.
One of the biggest complaints about Red Dead Online has been the lack of things to do, meaning its Summer Update has the potential to be a godsend.
As for what the patch promises, the most exciting inclusions are three unique roles that will allow gamers to roleplay the life of a wild west civilian even more than before.
The three roles are Bounty Hunter, Trader and Collector. You can find out more about these roles and the Online Summer Update additions by clicking here.
In addition to three new shoes to fill, the patch will also bring about the Outlaw Pass. This feature has caused some concern amongst the game’s remaining community, but the verbiage from Rockstar doesn’t paint all that bleak a picture.
