According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker-Peters is set to return to action this weekend against Crystal Palace, but the news hasn’t gone down well with supporters of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Walker-Peters return to fitness is ostensibly good news for Spurs, as it increases their right-back options, which are currently very sparse.
However, it says much about Walker-Peters start to the campaign that Tottenham supporters don’t seem over the moon about his return.
Would rather Aurier get a run in the team tbh.— Lee Smith (@LeeSmith2000) September 8, 2019

Walkter-Peters is only just starting to be handed a consistent run of games, so the judgement of Tottenham supporters is rather harsh.
That being said, if the 22-year-old is to nail down a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up he is likely to need to improve.
Walker-Peters is set to face increased competition for his spot soon as Juan Foyth is getting closer and closer to returning to action, and Serge Aurier has stayed with Tottenham, despite being linked with a move away over the summer.
Davinson Sanchez had to start Tottenham’s last game at right-back against Arsenal, but it seems unlikely that the Colombian will be used there again against Crystal Palace after the international break.
