Glasgow Rangers-owned winger Jake Hastie played well for Rotherham United on Saturday.
Jake Hastie may have struggled to make an impact at Rangers, but the young winger has started his loan spell at Rotherham United brilliantly.
Hastie joined Rangers in the summer transfer window on a free transfer, having agreed a pre-contract with the Gers.
According to The Rotherham Advertiser, Rangers had to pay Motherwell a compensation fee of £350,000 to secure the services of the 20-year-old.
The winger could not establish himself in the Rangers first team and was sent out on loan to Rotherham in the summer transfer window.
The Scotland Under-21 international made his competitive debut for Rotherham on Saturday afternoon, as he featured against Doncaster Rovers away from home in League One.

Hastie started out wide against Doncaster and was involved in the game very much, especially in the opening stages with his set-pieces.
The winger opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a wonderful free kick, and later he also provided a brilliant cross.
Rotherham fans were impressed with the performance of Hastie against Doncaster and have praised him on Twitter.
Below are some of the best comments:
What a good acquisition Jake Hastie is. Power. Pace. End product. Cheers to Rangers for the helping hand and well in Rob Scott for getting that one over the line! #rufc

Positives : Hastie and Lindsay. Negatives : tactics and Ladapo. Haven’t seen a decent performance from him to date. #rufc

Fuming with that. Absolutely fell to pieces after looking so dominant. Hastie best player on the pitch, subbed off for Mattock!?!? Just don’t understand it #rufc

Only positives I see from that is the fact we have a strong back up keeper for this division and Hastie means business. #rufc
