Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa said last month that he wasn't expecting Tyler Roberts to be fit any time soon.
Speaking to [The Yorkshire Evening Post], Bielsa said: "Tyler Roberts will probably be ready and in the team before Luke Ayling. I cannot confirm the date. We are talking about players who are not coming back soon."
But LUTV, Leeds' online channel, released an exciting video today which indicate that the Wales international might not be that far away now.
In it, Roberts, a £4.5 million signing 18 months ago [The Daily Mail], is seen training alongside United team-mates such as Kalvin Phillips, Ben White and Patrick Bamford at Thorp Arch.
Luke Ayling, who like Roberts hasn't kicked a ball under Bielsa in any competition this season, was also spotted in the training video and it looks like a double piece of good news might not be far away.
Leeds have done fine without Ayling or Roberts this season, winning four of their six Championship games and losing just once.
But Bielsa's squad was decimated by injury for much of last season and the more players the Argentine has at his disposal, the better.
Leeds, who sit third in the table, visit Barnsley after the international break on September 15.
