Tottenham Hotspur-owned Kazaiah Sterling and Wolverhampton Wanderers-owned Niall Ennis were in action for Doncaster Rovers against Rotherham United on Saturday.

Doncaster Rovers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performances of Tottenham Hotspur-owned forward Kazaiah Sterling and Wolverhampton Wanderers-owned forward Niall Ennis against Rotherham United.

Sterling joined Doncaster on loan from Premier League club Tottenham in the summer transfer window, while Ennis moved to Donny on loan from Wolves.

The 20-year-old Tottenham-owned striker started for Doncaster in their League One game against Rotherham at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The former England Under-18 international did not have a good game and was often isolated up front, and he also gave away the foul which resulted in the free kick that Jake Hastie scored from for the visiting team.

Doncaster manager Darren Moore decided to take off Sterling at half time, and in his place, he introduced Ennis.

The 20-year-old changed the game, as he offered a physical presence, made some brilliant runs, teed up the equaliser for James Coppinger and won the penalty in the 88th minute which Ben Whiteman turned in.

Doncaster fans have praised Ennis for his performance against Rotherham, but they were not too pleased with the display produced by Sterling.
