Leeds United youngster made his debut for Northern Ireland.
Leeds United youngster Alfie McCalmont made his senior debut for Northern Ireland last night.
The young midfielder came off the bench in the friendly win over Luxembourg.
McCalmont, 19, was introduced in the 60th minute and was one of five changes Michael O'Neill's side made.
After the game McCalmont sent a message to his followers on Twitter expressing how pleased he was to have been brought on.
McCalmont's selection caps an impressive month for the talented youngster.
He started his first game for Leeds United recently, in the Carabao Cup draw against Stoke City.
Leeds lost that game on penalties, and their elimination from the competition harms his chances of game time in the immediate future.
His Northern Ireland call highlights how talented he is, and this is just the start.
