Tottenham Hotspur brought in Ryan Sessegnon over the summer, but he has not been fit to make his debut yet.

According to Football London, Ryan Sessegnon will train with Tottenham Hotspur’s first-team for the very first time in the coming days.

Sessegnon joined Tottenham from Fulham over the summer, but he has not been fit enough to feature for Mauricio Pochettino’s side yet.

Sessegnon joined Tottenham with an injury, but it seems that he is close to shaking off that problem now.

The 19-year-old is fully expected to train with his new Tottenham teammates of the first time over the international break.

Sessegnon is currently working in the gym on his own, as he goes through his final preparations to ensure he is fit enough to join in with full training.

The new signing’s impending availability is good news for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham looks on during the pre-season friendly between Reading and Fulham at the EBB Stadium on July 14, 2018 in Aldershot, England.

Sessegnon has a real chance of staking a claim to take Tottenham’s left-back spot when he does return to full fitness, as Danny Rose has been in poor form so far this season.

Sessegnon could offer Tottenham a more potent attacking outlet down the left, and his arrival should increase competition for places even further within Pochettino’s squad.
