Newcastle United defender Fabian Schar scored Steve Bruce's side's goal against Watford.

Schar was forced to come off in the closing stages of Newcastle’s game with Watford, which finished as a 1-1 draw.
The centre-back clashed heads with a Watford player, and the after-effects were serious.
But Newcastle defender Schar admits that initially he wanted to stay on the pitch, even though his vision was impaired.
“I felt a little bit dizzy and sick. I could not see,” he said.
"I wanted to play on but I was not 100%. It was the right decision.”
Despite being forced off with the head injury, Schar still had an excellent game against Watford.
The Swiss international scored Newcastle’s goal in the contest, as they picked up a point against Javi Gracia’s struggling side.

Schar has developed a happy knack of scoring since moving to St. James’ Park, and possesses an excellent finish for a centre-back.
His goal against Watford was once again well taken, as he finished cooly from close range.
Newcastle are currently in 14th place in the Premier League table, with their next match coming against Liverpool after the international break.
